2. Personal Data We Collect & Processing Purposes

When you use Animora, we collect and process the following categories of information using automated methods:

  • Identity & Contact Info: Your email address, username, and account password (stored securely as a one-way cryptographic hash). This is used to verify your identity, manage your account, and contact you with operational alerts.
  • Pet Details and Daily Logs: Your pet's name, breed, age group, birthday, weight, vaccination history, daily nutrition/hydration logs, medication schedules, and vet checkup notes. This data is essential for generating daily pet care schedules and calculating the dynamic Health Score algorithm.
  • Precise Location (GPS) Coordinates: When you initiate the "GPS Walk Tracking" feature, Animora collects device coordinates in the background and foreground. This tracking is strictly necessary to map your walks, calculate total distance covered, and construct your pet's activity history. GPS data is only processed upon your active consent and can be revoked at any time via device settings.
  • Device & Technical Usage Details: IP address, device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (UDID, IDFV, Advertising ID), app crash logs, and feature usage analytics. We process this to patch technical bugs, monitor performance, and enforce cybersecurity protocols.

3. Legal Bases for Processing Data

We process your data under the following legal frameworks:

  • Performance of a Contract: Processing is required to deliver the core features of the Animora platform (user authentication, profile setup, schedule alerts).
  • Legitimate Interests: Processing is necessary to resolve software bugs, monitor app speed, and improve the user experience.
  • Consent: Your explicit approval to share coordinates for mapping your dog's walks.

4. Third-Party Integrations & Data Transfers

We utilize enterprise-grade external services to keep your data secure. We never sell your personal or pet health information to third-party advertisers. We integrate the following secure services:

  • Google Firebase (Authentication & Cloud Firestore): Used for secure cloud storage of pet logs and user account credentials. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest within Google’s high-security data centers.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: Anonymously captures diagnostic logs when the application encounters a crash, helping us patch code issues.
  • RevenueCat: Manages subscription status and processes Premium entitlements. We do not store or process payment card details; all financial transactions are processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store payment billing systems.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Animora does not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13 (or local age limits under EU/national regulations). If we learn that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete such data from our servers. 6. Retention and Data Deletion (Right to Be Forgotten)

We store your personal data only for as long as your Animora account is active to facilitate pet tracking.

How to Delete Your Data: You have absolute control over your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated logs directly in the app via Settings > Delete Account, or by sending a request to support@animora.com. Once requested, all your personal info, email, pet profiles, and historical coordinates will be permanently and irreversibly purged from our database and backup archives within 30 days.

Under global data regulations (such as GDPR, KVKK, and CCPA), you are entitled to:

  • Request access to your stored personal information,
  • Request correction of any inaccurate or outdated data,
